Frank LaCambria

Frank LaCambria, of Milton, died Monday July 23, 2018. He was 100 years old.

Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston Public Schools and entered the United States Army in 1941. A Purple Heart recipient, he was discharged in 1945 as a corporal. Frank joined the Boston Fire Department January 22, 1947 and served as a firefighter on Engine 10, Mount Vernon Street, Beacon Hill for 34 years.

Frank was a life member of Disabled American Veterans #79 of Quincy, St. Florian Society and member of International Assn. of Firefighters.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara Anne (Holub) LaCambria.  Frank is survived by nieces Camille LaCambria (John) Oliver, Cornelia Kelley (Luco LaCambria), Elizabeth Holub (Brian) Kauffmann and nephew Raymond A. Holub, III (Nancy) and several grandnieces and grandnephews.  He was preceeded in death by siblings Charlie LaCambria, Josephine LaCambria Sordello, Marie “Mary” LaCambria, Ralph LaCambria, and Antonio LaCambria and several beloved nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Road, Milton, Monday July 30 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Sunday 4-6 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
