Sean Pelzer
Sean Pelzer was born in Boston, MA on November 22, 1968 to Eula Atkins and Johnny Pelzer. After High School he joined the United States Army. After serving the military he worked for Massachusetts Unemployment and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Sean was involved on various political campaign committees.
His passion was working closely on the Cori Reform. He loved coaching youth flag football and he was a honorary
member of the Windows Son Lodge #1 in West New Haven, CT. Sean was devoted to his family. He knew many people and many people knew him. He always had a smile and never was one who was lost for words. He could carry on a conversation with anyone. He had a brilliant mind to master any task.
He leaves behind to mourn his parents Eula and James Atkins and his father Johnny Pelzer. Grandparents Gonza Lee Gause. Cinderella Gause (deceased), Louise Atkins (deceased) and Johnny Pelzer, Sr. (deceased). Siblings; Michele Naila, Staci Gamble, Martez Crockton, Michael Caldwell, Timothy Caldwell, Tyrell Pelzer, Roberta Scott, Jonathan Scott and Stacey Bond (deceased). Children; John Pelzer, Shakira Young, Sean, Young, Shannon Pelzer, Shakye Pelzer, Shemar Pelzer, Phoebe Pelzer, Hannah Pelzer, Joshua Pelzer and Alivia Pelzer. Grandchidlren; Kayla Pelzer and J’vanna Pelzer. Sisters-in-Law Sonya Patten and Elizabeth Crockton. Brother-in-Law Ronald Gamble and his ex-wife Sharnda Young who continued to be in his life. Sean leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated in Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Saturday, July 7 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends invited. Visiting hour from 10-11 AM. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Monday, July 9 at 10:45 AM.
