It is with a deep sense of sorrow, that we have heard of the death of Lillian.
We got to know Lillian some 23 years ago, through our mutual friends, Michael & the late Bríde O’Shaughnessy & have remained in close contact ever since.
Lillian visited us in Co. Cork on her many trips to Ireland & we have had the pleasure of staying at her home at 73 Nelson St. in Dorchester, on a number of visits to Boston, over the years.

To Lillians family, my sincere sympathy on Lillians passing. I had the honour of Lillians friendship through her friends the O,Shaughnessys in Cork when she came to visit. I was Breedas carer during her illness. Lil was such a kind caring lady and she will be missed greatly. I met up with her when she was home to Cork before Christmas and was looking forward to a catch up again in the summer. She can catch up now with her dear friend Breeda in heaven. I am sorry for all our loss. Dorothy Heslin Cork
Today I heard the very tragic news of Lillians death from her dear
friend Michael John O’Shaughnessy. I got to know Lillian on her visits to Michael John and his late wife Breda. I spent many hours in her company and enjoyed her sense of humour and her incredible spirit. Lillian and all those who mourn her great loss are in my thoughts and prayers.
