“Candy man” aka Vinny…
I was so saddened by the news.
I met you when I started to work at Stop & Shop in Medford NY
You soon became my favorite customer. You & your precious pup, Charlie. The sweetest most well behaved Yorkie I’ll ever know. The two of you were inseparable. It wasn’t long before I nicknamed you the “candy man”. (To those that don’t know, he never left the store without giving the cashiers a piece of candy or chocolate). The and stuck, that’s how he was known in the store. I have so many fond memories of you. iPhone lessons every time I rang you up. Getting fresh vegetables from your garden. Babysitting Charlie when ever you had to go to the men’s room at the store. Helping you get Charlie a support dog vest so you can take him any where. Tons of selfies with you & Charlie. All the sweet gifts you gave me for Valentine’s Day or Christmas. Becoming friends on Facebook. My heart is sad. And in case you didn’t know. So many of the girls, even ones that haven’t worked there in years, all remember you.
Your beautiful wife waits for you.
Your in peace. I will never forget you!
God Bless you Candy man
REST IN PEACE🙏🏻

Diane and Craig and the rest of the family, Your dad sounds like an incredible guy and easy to see where some of your gifts come from, Diane. So sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Barb and Joe
Since you left Cornell our gardens are not the same. The plants are a little less colorful and not as happy. We all miss you. And, where will we get all the exotic tomato plants that you grew in the greenhouse?
