Jane A. Kerr, of Milton, died at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Milton, Sunday January 28, 2018.

Born in Quincy, she was raised in Milton and graduated from Milton High School, Class of 1952, Fitchburg State College and Burbank School of Nursing, Class of 1957. Jane earned her Masters Degree in Nursing from Boston University.

She taught nursing at Fitchburg State College, was the director of nursing for Fitchburg Visiting Nurses Association and worked  at various nursing homes. She returned to Milton in 1995. She enjoyed working on her computer, discovering the early days of the internet and was an avid reader.

Daughter of the late John R. and Mabel V. (McKinnon) Kerr. Sister of Gordon Kerr of Weymouth and the late John Kerr and Malcolm Kerr. Jane is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a graveside service at Milton Cemetery, Friday February 16 at 10:30 am. Please meet at the Main Entrance on Centre Street.
