Gerardo Colón de Jesus, 67, of Dorchester, MA originally from San Lorenzo, PR, passed away after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family on February 15, 2018.

Gerardo is survived by his partner of many years, Alejandrina Rivas Ortiz, daughter Maria Colón and her partner Ray Dimagiba, daughter Esther Colón, son Antonio Colón, son Gerardo Colón, and many loving grandchildren, and extended family. Gerardo was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all. Gerardo loved fixing things, talking politics and classic Spanish movies.

Funeral services for Gerardo will be at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday, February 21, 10-12 pm. He will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
