Beloved wife of William J. Essex. Cherished mother of James and Denise Essex. Loving grandmother of Nikita, James, Kenneth, Kevin, and Tamara Essex. Great grandmother of Adeja, Richard, Quidar, Kevin, Kori, and Ayana Essex. Sister of Willa Mae Matthews and Jacqueline Williams.

Visitation at the Morning Star Baptist Church, Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, Friday, February 16 from 10-11 AM. Funeral Service at the church at 11:00 AM. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
