Rosemary Ann (Jenness) Foley, of Dorchester, formerly of South Boston, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018.
Beloved wife of Patrick F. Foley Dorchester. Daughter of the late William and Helen (Rouse) Jenness. Loving mother of Patrick F. Foley, Jr., of FL, David M. Foley of ME, Jean H. Smith of NM and Ellen A. Foley of Boston. Cherished grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Sister of six sisters and 3 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mark Church, Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Wednesday, January 24 at 10:30 AM. Visitation at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, from 9:00-10:00 AM Wednesday morning. Relatives and friends invited.

I am sorry to hear of my coworker’s passing. Rosemary and I worked together back in the 80’s at Shawmut Bank. I have fond memories or working with her in customer service and then occasionally seeing her when we moved to Dorchester later on. I will be out of state on Wednesday; so won’t be able to attend her service. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
