Doris W. Lawrence of Dorchester, Jan 8, beloved wife of the late Alvin Lawrence. Mother of Edwin Lawrence of Chelsea, and Devon Lawrence of Hyde Park. Step mother of Pamela Lawrence and Bosworth Lawrence. Sister of Violet “Shirley”  Miller, Judith Ricketts, Joan Evans and Roland Miller. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Service in Church of the Holy Spirit, 525 River St, Mattapan, Saturday, January 20 at 10 o’clock . Visitation Saturday 9 – 10  am at the church. Interment Fairview Cemetery.
