Margaret  (O’Dowd) O’Connor, of Milton, age 91,  October 18, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Edward A. O’Connor. Devoted mother of Margaret “Meg” O’Connor of Milton.

Born in Boston and raised in Brighton, Margaret received her undergraduate degree from the former Boston State Teachers College and her two graduate degrees from Boston College. Her career spanned over 40 years in the Boston Public School System as a teacher and guidance  counselor. For 25 years, Margaret organized Fontbonne Academy’s benefit Arts and Crafts Show.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Thursday, October 26 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Wednesday 4-7 pm. Interment St Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers donations in Margaret’s memory may be sent to Fontbonne Academy, 930 Brook Road, Milton, MA 02186.
