Edmund W. Sablock, of Braintree, formerly of West Quincy passed away Friday October 6, 2017. Edmund was born in Jewett City, CT and moved to Massachusetts with his family. He was a resident of Dorchester for over 20 years,  then moved to West Quincy and lived there for 54 years, before moving to Braintree. Edmund worked for 20 years for Westinghouse as an appliance repairman and then as a maintenance mechanic for Boston Edison for 22 years until his retirement in 1992. Once Edmund retired, he devoted his life to helping family and friends.

He was the beloved husband of the late Joan D. (Callahan )  Sablock. Loving father of Patricia M. Sablock of Canton, and Susan M. Stevenson and her husband John of Braintree. A  Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams St. at Brook Rd., Milton, Thursday October 12, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., East Milton,  Thursday, 8:30 – 10 AM. Interment private.
