Ednilson Da Costa

Ednilson Da Costa (28) tragically passed on October 14, 2017 at the Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge MA.

He was the loving son of Francisco Dacosta and Maria Celeste De Sousa Britto and a cherished brother of 13 siblings: Renato, Miriam, Gerson, Remy, Solange, Leonilde, Katia, Crismirian, Andreia, Elder , Jacquelina, Edelize , Jessica. He was a beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Born in Picos, Cabo Verde, as a young boy he enjoyed building cars with miscellaneous items and pretending to drive. He moved to the United States at the age of 18 and attended Burke High School. Upon graduating, he got his commercial driver’s license, and worked at Sunrise Scavenger as a truck driver. He then moved to Tennessee where he went to college and worked as a driver for a waste disposal company.  Recently, he had moved back to Massachusetts and resumed his prior job with his beloved father Francisco at Sunrise Scavenger.

Ednilson was best know  for his kind, forgiving soul, his humble, generous heart, and his friendly spirit that brought laughter and joy to us all. And his love of cars.
