Marilyn A. O’Donnell
Marilyn A. O’Donnell 81, of Milton passed away at her residence September 29, 2017. Born in Boston, Marilyn moved to Milton in 1947. After graduation from Milton High School, Marilyn went to work for Bank of Boston as a teller and worked her way up to Branch Manager until her retirement. Marilyn loved animals and owned many throughout her life. She was a volunteer at the Milton Animal Shelter for many years. She would spend weekends and summers at her house in West Yarmouth. Marilyn was the daughter of the late John T. and Helen (Dolan) O’Donnell and sister of her late twin Maureen O’Donnell and Marie Hughes. She is survived by her brother John of Milton and niece Karen Hughes of RI.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church, Milton on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours from the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON Wednesday 9 – 10 AM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery.
