Peter E.  Manning, of Milton, died August 27 2017.

He was the loving son of the late Irene I and M Joseph Manning and the devoted brother of Maritta Manning Cronin, M. Joseph Manning, Jr. and Harriet I Manning, all of Milton. Peter is also survived by five nephews, Jay, Brian and Will Cronin, Joey and Jonathan Manning, three nieces, JoAnne Manning Peterson, Jill Manning and Anne Manning Doherty, seven grand-nephews, Jack, Henry and Duncan Cronin, John Manning, Ryan Peterson, Liam and Noah Doherty and six grand-nieces, Madelynn Cronin, Casie Peterson, Lauren, Ellen and Katherine Manning and Emma Doherty.

Peter worked with his brother Joe as 4^th generation owners of Thatcher Farm.

Peter was a loyal member of Milton High, class of 1966 where he played football. He also graduated from Massasoit Community College and the University of Arizona. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, a longtime member of Gentlemens Basketball, he enjoyed Boston sport teams and attending antique car shows.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday September 6^th at 11 am in  Milton Cemetery (meet at front gate) followed by Celebration of Life service at Wakefield Estate 1465 Brush Hill Road Milton. All are welcome.
