Maria Esperança Correia “Natalia”,  88, passed away on August 4th peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde Islands, daughter of the late Catarina DePina and Diniz Jose Correia. Natalia immigrated to the United States in 1991, resided in Dorchester and worked as seamstress for many years. She will be remembered for the love of her family, friends, dancing, cooking and spending time with her many grandchildren.

Natalia is survived by her two sons; Daniel DePina of Atlanta, Georgia & Joaquin Correia of Dorchester; two daughters; Euprepia Correia & Rosalina Correia of Dorchester; three sisters; Caetana DePina, Maria Gonçalves of Fogo, Cabo Verde Islands &  Perpétua “Naterça” DePina of Portugal as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Friday August 11th from 4 to 8pm. Dolan & Chapman Funeral Home located at 5 Canton Avenue, Milton Village.

Her funeral will be held at Saint Peter Church on Saturday August 12th at 10 A.M. located at 278 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester MA.

Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
