Margaret M. McNamara of Needham formerly of Mattapan died on July 5, 2017.  Beloved daughter of the  late Patrick and Margaret McNamara.  Sister of the late  James McNamara. Margaret is also lovingly survived by several cousins in the United States and Ireland.

Margaret was born in Boston,  she was a graduate Jamaica Plain High School. Margaret was a resident of Mattapan for over 40 years.  She worked for the MBTA in Jamaica Plain for many years before retiring.  Past member of the MBTA   retirees and the Jolly Acres.  She enjoyed traveling to Ireland and the Caribbean.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation in Saint Angela Church, 1548 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan on Tuesday July 11, 2017 10:00- 11:00am.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00AM.  Interment   in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.  See www.dolanfuneral.com for online condolences and directions.
