Patricia Cerasuolo

Patricia M. (Dillon) Cerasuolo, 71, of Canton (formerly of Belmont), passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017 after a year long battle with cancer. Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 12, 1946 to the late Joseph & Dorothea (Morris) Dillon. After graduating from Saint Columbkille High School in Brighton she attended Bridgewater State University. She later obtained two Master’s Degrees from Boston College. She was predeceased by her love, Paul F. Cerasuolo, whom she married on October 16, 1971 at Saint Columbkille. Patricia devoted her working life to educating high school aged children in the greater Boston area. She was a fixture at Saint Columbkille and Saint Clement high schools prior to going to Fontbonne Academy in Milton where she worked for twenty-seven years as both a teacher and an administrator until her retirement in 2016. Not only was she a presence in the classroom, but she loved connecting with students at performances, games, and functions within the Fontbonne community. Even after her retirement, Patricia remained in close contact with her friends and colleagues on a regular basis proving that Fontbonne Academy would always be an integral part of who she was. She enjoyed her travels throughout the United States and Europe, although those experiences would temporarily take her away from the Boston sports teams that she loved. Most of all she cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren. In addition to being predeceased by Paul, Patricia leaves behind her son; David Cerasuolo of Norfolk, MA and David’s children Connor and Caroline, her daughter Amy (Cerasuolo) Lindstrom and her husband Kristian and their sons Noah and Jared all of Manchester, CT. She is also survived by her brother Francis Dillon and his wife Linda of Raynham, MA, her brother James Dillon and his wife Rita of Schenectady, NY, her brother Joseph Dillon and his wife Donna Hussey of Seabrook NH, her sister Marianne (Dillon) Raeke and her husband Kevin of Sutton, MA, her sister-in-law Ellen Cerasuolo of Manomet, MA, her brother-in-law Donald Cerasuolo and his wife Linda of Wilmington, NC. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as many loyal and wonderful friends. Her family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff of 2 East at Manchester Memorial Hospital as well as those at Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut for their care and companionship during her illness. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 4-8PM at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE, MA 02186.
