Lonergan, Marjorie (Young) of Quincy formerly of Norwell died on March 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Charles H. Lonergan. Loving mother of David C. and the late Stephen E. Lonergan. Daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Young. Sister of the late Evelyn Donovan and Kenneth Young. Aunt of Debbie Donovan Bayne and her husband David, Bob Donovan and his wife Mim, Edward and Jamie Young. Honorary aunt of Phred Henson and great aunt of Michael Henson.

Marjorie was born and raised in Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School and attended Katharine Gibbs School in Boston. Before having children she worked for the Veterans Administration and later became a Secretary at Howard Johnson Corporation where she worked for many years before retiring. She lived in Norwell for 60 years and attended St. John the Evangelist in Hingham. She enjoyed traveling to Bermuda, Florida, Hawaii, and British Columbia. Marjorie was an accomplished paint-by-number artist and an excellent cook and gardener. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.
