Jacob N. Anderson, 90, of Needham, died Wednesday March 8, 2017.
Beloved father of the late Joseph N. Anderson and four grandchildren. Dear brother of Stanley Anderson and his wife Gem of Nashua, NH. Brother of the late Leo Anderson of Roxbury and devoted wife Annie of Randolph, late Hector Anderson of Roxbury and late David Anderson of Jamaica and wife Celeste and former wife Constance. He leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Jacob was born and raised in Elizabeth, Jamaica. After coming to the United States, he settled in the Boston Area. He enjoyed reading the Bible and was an avid Red Sox fan. Jacob was a hardworking man always providing for his family. Jacob will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday March 17, from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS. A service will follow at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.

I send condolences to the family of “Junior” Jacob Anderson. I had met the family many years ago and was able to attend Leo and Hector’s. I never had this happen before. Three of my friend’s funeral services at the same time One in Roxbury, one in Dorchester, and one in Mattapan. Well, I’ll do my best and with all this snow that was left behind to hinder travel time.Like I said, I will do my best. I am also a friend of Connie, Davida and Keith , also Janet Spence and Milton and his wife.
