Michael S. Mulcahy
Michael S. Mulcahy, of Milton, died December 1, 2016. He was 42.
Beloved son of Philip and Dianne of Milton. Loving and devoted brother to Ryan of Milton and John of Falls Church, Virginia. Loving brother-in-law to Regan and Evelyn. Loving uncle to Colin, Mary, Bettina, and James. Loved by grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and more friends than we can count.
Graduate of the Peterson School. Plumber with Local 12. Mike had a gift for drawing. He took pride in being able to fix pretty much anything. He was a good boxer as a kid. He liked to take long walks — even better if through the woods or by the ocean. He liked to fish. He liked to read, especially crime stuff. (Richard Price was a favorite.) He was a master, and mischievous, nickname giver. He never turned down a buddy in need. Honest, loyal, wise, and brave in this life; happy and free in the next. The sound of his courageous heart carried thousands of miles, and won’t ever die out. Mike, we love you more.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Friday December 9 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gavin Foundation, Development Department, 675 East 4th Street, P.O. Box E-15, South Boston, MA 02127.
