John O’Leary
John James O’Leary, of Quincy, died at Hancock Park Nursing & Rehabilitation, Monday December 12, 2016.Born in Brockton, he was raised in Dorchester and Milton and graduated from Cathedral High School. Mr. O’Leary served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired in 1987 as a district manager with First National Supermarkets, “Finast”.
Husband of the late Mary Lou (Otis) O’Leary. Loving father of Sheila O’Leary Cobban and her late husband David C. Cobban of Quincy. Proud grandfather of Daniel C. Cobban. Brother of the late Tina O’Brien, Ellen Wallace, Dennis O’Leary and Barbara Shannon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Tuesday December 20 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, Tuesday 9:00 – 10:00 AM. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Donations in John’s memory may be made to Cathedral High School, 74 Union Park Street, Boston, MA 02118.
