Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Paul F. Higgins, (Ret. Det. MPD). Loving mother of Paul F. Higgins Jr. and his wife Susan of Milton, Maureen O’Brien and her husband Frank of Canton, Patricia Cunningham and her partner Dennis Murray of Quincy, Susan Hagerty and her husband James of Norfolk and Diane Higgins and her fiance Peter Relick of Milton. Frances is survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, siblings Charles W. Grinnell of CT, Cynthia Wardan of Medford and Diana Osgood of Bridgewater and her sisters-in-law Joan Higgins of Quincy and Margaret Kelley of Milton and her special niece Anne Wright of Braintree.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, 2215 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, Thursday December 22 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Thursday 9:00 – 10:30 AM. Interment Milton Cemetery.
