Domingas (Gibau) Fonseca (86) of Dorchester died at Care One in Randolph, December 10, 2016.

She was the widow of the late Arthur Da Fonseca.

She was born in Nossa Senhora do Monte, Brava, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Jose and Maria Da Lomba Gibau. Domingas enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

Survivors include 3 sons, Tony and Rui Fonseca both of Dorchester also Joao Fonseca of Rhode Island, the late Artur Fonseca, 6 daughters, Constancia, Ana, Arlete, Otilia, and Carlotta Fonseca all of Dorchester and Mariazinha Fonseca of Florida, many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.

Visitation in the Dolan Funeral Home 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Wednesday December 14 from 5-9 PM. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains to be held in Domingas’s hometown on the island of Brava, Cabo Verde.
