Loving father of Madison, Delphine, Maeve and William, all of Milton. Son of the late John and Delphine (Jarantoski) Jrolf of Framingham. Brother of James Jrolf of Kansas City, MO; Thomas of Westford; Judy Stirrat of Beverly and Mark of Newton. Uncle and brother-in-law to many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth Church, Reedsdale Road at Randolph Avenue, Milton, Friday December 30 at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery.

Born in Milwaukee, he moved to Framingham as a teenager and graduated from high school in Framingham. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Framingham State College and his master’s degree from Northeastern University. David was an avid reader, and a respected journalist whose long career as an editor included both the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe.
