Barbara Clements
Devoted Mother and Grandmother Mrs. Barbara Clements, “Nana” died peacefully in her home on Friday the 14th of October, 2016 in Hooksett, New Hampshire at the age of 79. Barbara is survived by her sister Jeannie, her son William, her granddaughters Christina and Corrie, and her great-grandson Dylan. She is preceded in death by her brother Richard, her husband Leonard, and her daughter Karen.Barbara was born on January 14th, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts to John and Catherine Ryan. She married Air Force sergeant Leonard Clements in 1958 and they traveled the country together. Barbara loved her time spent living in Germany and California with her husband. After the death of her husband, Barbara moved to Stoughton, Massachusetts and eventually settled in Hooksett, New Hampshire with her son and grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies include her Antiques, puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Visiting hours will be held Friday in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS 10 – 11:45 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:45. Relatives and Friends invited. Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to Fisher House Foundation, 1400 VFW PKWY, West Roxbury, MA 02132.

It was our honor to have this wonderful lady in our life. Nana became part of our family when my son Peter married Barbara’s granddaughter Christina. She had many wonderful stories, and an exciting life. I know that she will be missed by those who loved her. May she rest in peace.

Sorry to learn of the passing of your mother & grandmother. I so enjoyed her company when she came to New York at Thanksgiving time. She was a wonderful lady & will be missed.
