Loving mother of Martha Sherman and her husband Bob of Norwell, Thomas Foley of Kirkland, WA, and Timothy Foley and his wife Andrea of Norwell. She was the beloved grandmother “MIMI” to Michael Foley, his wife Tiffany and daughter Trinity of Burlington; Matthew Sherman and his wife Tricia of Kingston; Allison, Erin, Gayle and Timothy “T.J.” of Norwell. Pat was born in Marlborough and graduated from St. Michael’s in Hudson. In 2002 she was honored as a Golden Eagle marking her 50th anniversary of graduation.  Pat and Tom raised their family in Milton. Pat worked as a nurse for numerous years, spending most of her career working at the Milton Visiting Nurse Association where she saw patients at home and later became director of the Home Health Aide division. She loved to travel and had a special fondness for the ocean, traveling to Bermuda, St. Maarten, Aruba, Marshfield, and Cape Cod. She also enjoyed going to Foxwoods, shopping, knitting, Scrabble, their pool, and being with friends. She brought enthusiasm, energy and fun everywhere she went. She found pure joy in life, but her joy was especially evident when she spent time with family and her beloved grandchildren.

Her grace, kindness, strength and independent spirit were a great gift. She received amazing home care during the past few years from the Norwell VNA and Hospice and the family would like to recognize nurses: Donna Seibert, Trisha Greene, Marlene Spence and Emily Sheehan; her special home care givers; Gerri Connolly, Marie Dorcey, Pat Moore, Carine Jean-Baptiste Edmond, Jan MacGillvray, and Stacy Salmon. Thanks also to the medical team who provided outstanding care.
