James ” Mac” McCarthy of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Quincy, died at home Wednesday, May 18, 2016.  Born in Milton he was a graduate of  Milton High School. Mr. McCarthy served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He worked for Roadway Tire Co. in Fl for as a salesperson. His passion was power boating.   He was the devoted father of Richard and John McCarthy of FL and Janet Marie McCarthy of Weymouth.. Grandfather of  Joseph McCarthy of FL, Matthew Fisher of Weymouth, Tyler, Madison and Alexa McCarthy all of FL. Brother of Paul McCarthy of Kingston and the late Joan McCarthy.  Former husband of the late Geraldine ((McAlduff) McCarthy. Brother in Law of Paul McAlduff of Fl. Son of the late Harry and Kate McCarthy.   Visiting hour at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Tuesday, May 24, 11:30 -12:30.   Interment Service Mount Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale, Tuesday 1 pm.
