Robert M. McDevitt, passed away after a brief illness, in Washington DC at the age of 49, March 12, 2016. Robert is survived by his mother Geradine (Harold) Sharkey and his stepdad William “Bill” Sharkey of Quincy and his domestic partner Helen McCulley of Washington DC. He was the beloved nephew of James G. Harold of Medford, Stephen G. Harold of Hingham and Rev. Edward P. McDevitt of SC. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church, 95 Crescent Street, West Quincy, Thursday April 21 at 9:00 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robert’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114-1101. Burial will be private.
