We’ll miss you Grandpa! We were truly blessed to have you in our lives for this long. You were a fighter til the end, holding on a lot longer than anyone expected. I’m glad I got to spend some of your last few hours with you. Grandma and John have been waiting for you so fly high!
sorry for your loss, Walter was a great guy to work with at the Arson Squad…at an incident he was “sly like a fox”…lucky to have worked with him a few times before he retired, loved to hear the old Ladder 4 stories…
My condolences to the amazing Austin Family. Your father was a wonderful man. As long time next door neighbor to the Sullivan Family on Harbor View Street, he was always there and willing to help when we needed him. Walter was a pleasant man who never got uptight about anything. A pleasure to be around. I can’t think of him without seeing his beautiful wife, Mary with her beautiful red hair and big smile. Both of them unselfish, hard working father and mother. He will be missed but he is at peace, surrounded by his beautiful wife and some of the Sullivan, next door neighbors. RIP Walter
Rita, Richie, and the Austin family, my condolences. No matter how long and wonderful the life, it is a hard loss. My thoughts are with you and your children.
