Beloved husband of Kathleen (Whalen) Kenney. Loving father of Peter Kenney and his wife Dorothy of Philadelphia, PA, Christopher Kenney and his wife Anne of Sherborn and Robert and his wife Anng of Wellesley. Grandfather of Connor, Patrick, Grace, Benjamin, Henry, Thomas, Jack, Mollie and Ellie. Brother of Raymond Kenney and his wife Claire of Woburn and Virginia Kennedy and her late husband Paul of Belmont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere Street, Boston, Wednesday March 16 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Tuesday 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Paul Sullivan Housing Trust @ Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118.
Bob was a real estate developer and former Director of the Boston Redevelopment Authority. He graduated from BC High, Boston College and Harvard Business School and served in the US Navy.

Dear Kath, Peter, Chris and Robert,
I was so sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. Take comfort in the fact that his suffering is over and is with God. I am travelling this week and can’t be at his service but will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
It was my honor to work with Bob on Pine St and other projects during the 1970’s and I believe you Kathy were on the board at Catholic Charities. He was instrumental in the revival of Boston during those years and did much for the communitites. MAy he rest in peace.
