Francis J.  “Frankie” Murphy Jr., of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, suddenly February 28, 2016.

Born and raised in Boston, Frankie was a longtime active member of Local 4, International Union of Operating Engineers.

Father of Daniel Kelley. Beloved son of the late Francis J. and Mary E. (O’Malley). Brother of Maureen Murphy of Braintree, Kathleen Lombardi of East Bridgewater, Eileen Murphy-Tagrin of Randolph, Colleen Crowe of South Boston, and Brian Murphy of Braintree. Frankie is survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and longtime girlfriend Denise Deziel and her children Shannon Deibel, Edward Kitterick and his princess Michaela Deziel.

Funeral from Kane Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street,(Route 138), EASTON, Saturday March 5 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in The Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton at 11:00 AM.
