Martha P. (McLaughlin) Shea
Martha C. (McLaughlin), formerly of Milton, died Monday January 18, 2016.
Born i Greenfield, Massachusetts, she was a graduate of Greenfield High School and New England Deaconess School of Nursing. Mrs. Shea was a resident of Milton from 1950 to 1980, moved to Port Orange, FL in retirement and moved to Linden Ponds, Hingham in 2004. She was an active volunteer at Carney Hospital and member of the Saint Agatha Church Guild.
Beloved wife of the late Cornelius J. Shea, M.D. Loving mother of Christopher J. Shea and his wife Katie of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Susan K. Bartolini and her husband Robert of Baltimore, MD, Philip R. Shea and his wife Martine of Salem, Janet M. Shea and her husband Tom Sheehan of Dorchester, Judy A. Shea and her husband Lewis Finfer of Dorchester and the late Barbara J. Shea. Grandmother of Andrew, Matthew and Philip Bartolini, Neil and Sarah Shea, Sophia Shea Finfer and Aleksander Shea Finfer and Gabriel Sheehan and great-grandmother of Ben and Madeleine Bartolini.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, Adams Street at Brook Road, Milton, Tuesday January 26 at 12 Noon. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Monday 4-7 PM. Spring Burial in Village Cemetery, Fairlee, VT.
