Arthur Igor Sivakov

Arthur Igor Sivakov, of Quincy formerly of Plymouth, died suddenly and peacefully Saturday January 16, 2016.

Beloved son of Natalia Shaw (Kodatenko) of Quincy and Igor Sivakov of Ukraine.  Loving twin brother of Artyom Sivakov of Quincy and loving stepchild of Ken Melchin of Milton.

Arthur is remembered by his family as being a warm, loving, intelligent and a kind man with passion for life and a great sense of humor. He loved children and their laughter and had a genuine and gentle love for all animals. He also enjoyed Going to Church where he derived great solace from his love of God as well as cooking, which was a favorite pastime.  It was an honor for Arthur to serve his country in the United States Army. He was so proud of his many accomplishments while serving. He was deployed to active duty in Afghanistan and awarded several Medals of Honor during his service time.  Most of all Arthur loved his Mother, his brother Artyom and Ken who were truly the cornerstone of his life.  He will be sadly missed by all those who have known and loved him.

Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Thursday 4-7PM.  Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Friday January 22.
