Eileen M. McSwiney
McSwiney, Eileen M. (Reardon) of Milton died December 3, 2015. Beloved wife of Walter L. McSwiney of Milton. Loving sister of Jean Fahlbeck, Florence Kirk and the late Joyce Lever. Cherished aunt of Scott Lever, Andrea Danalewich, Brian Lever, Susan Perkins, Alicia Kirk and Lauren Fahlbeck.
Eileen was the daughter of Florence (Fisher) Reardon and D. Irving Reardon, she was raised in Winchester. She was a graduate of Tufts University and went on to earn her Masters Degree from Harvard University. She began her career as a school psychologist in Tewksbury and later worked at EDCO Collaborative for 33 years. She served as Director of School Services and retired as Director of the Seefurth Education Center. After her retirement, EDCO established the McSwiney Center for Professional Learning in her honor. Eileen will be remembered as a woman who was passionate about her profession and dedicated to her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.
In lieu of flowers donations in Memory of Eileen may be made to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Thoracic Oncology Fund, Dr. Costa, 330 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
