Richard M. Mackey, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, a retired Foreman for the Boston Fire Department, Fire Alarm Division, died at home Sunday November 15, 2015.
Beloved husband of the late Ellen S. (Clarkson) Mackey. Loving father of George R. Mackey and his wife Cheryl of Hanover. Papa of Shane M. Mackey. Brother of the late Joan Mackey, Virginia Duff and Grace Cullinane.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church, 95 Crescent Street, West Quincy, Thursday November 19 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON, Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Dear George, We have missed our “across the hall” neighbor but are glad he got to live with you, your wife and, of course, Shane, the apple of his eye, for a while.
