Marion L. (Seastrand) Lewis
Marion L. (Seastrand) Lewis, in her ninetieth year, passed away after a year long illness, September 21, 2015. Born and raised in Norwood, Marion was a 1944 graduate of Norwood High School . Upon graduation she worked for the Bird Company in Norwood. In 1950 Marion married Edward V. Lewis and moved to Dorchester Lower Mills. After a few years, they moved to Milton as the family grew. After her four children started school, she went to work for the US Postal Service at the General Mail Facility in Boston. Marion loved to spend her summers at the family homes in Onset, and York Beach with her family.
Marion was the beloved wife of the late Edward V. Lewis. Loving mother of Annmarie Lewis of Scituate, Deborah J. O’Brien of Braintree, Maureen Seastrand of Scituate and the late Edward V. Jr. and Mary Lewis . Sister of the late John, Francis “Shotgun”, Cornelius Seastrand, and Helen Eysie. Cousin of Christine Goodrich of Walpole. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday September 28, in St. Agatha Church, Milton at 10:30 AM.
