We, his wife, Isabel Alves, his children, Orlando Alves, Maria Andrade Alves, Maria Pina, Judite Alves, Gregorio Alves, Manuel Alves, Maria Alves and Alcinda Alves, his twenty­two grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends fondly remember him.

“We remember how he loved his leather jacket and never would let anyone else use it no matter what. He would always have that big bright beautiful smile of his on all around the house. You said goodbye on August 9, 2015. We are in pain but you are finally at rest. Now Papa, Dono, Tio, and Amigo, you may walk with the angels into Glory. Now, we say goodbye with tears in our eyes, love in our hearts for the man that touched us and so many others with his smile, warmth, humor, courageousness, and love. Good bye, Rest in eternal peace.

Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., LOWER MILLS, Tuesday 4-8PM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment New Calvary Cemetery
