Marilyn Glynn Hinrichs

Hinrichs, Marilyn Glynn for website onlyMarilyn Glynn Hinrichs, raised in Milton MA, died Monday the 3rd of August at Milton Health Care.

Born January 1, 1932 in Medford MA, she graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1948, received a BS in Teaching from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1952, then taught art at Canton High School.

Soon after, she married Walter E. Hinrichs and focused on family, moving from Boston to Darien CT, then to Pittsburgh PA. Later, she returned to Milton, near her dearest hometown friends.

An avid painter all her life, her passion for the arts extended also to volunteer theater, where she delighted with her colorful and spectacular costumes.

She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, her engaging sense of  humor, and her devotion to family.

Beloved mother of Brian  S. Hinrichs and his wife Reiko Sagioka of Falmouth, Bradford S. Hinrichs of  Weymouth and Cliff Hinrichs of London, UK.

Prayer Service in the Dolan & Chapman Funeral Home, 5 Canton Ave., MILTON VILLAGE, Friday, Aug.  7 at 11:30. Visitation 10 – 11:30 am. Interment Milton Cemetery.
