Frederick C. Leonard, III
Frederick C. Leonard III, of Dorchester, passed away on August 21, 2015 after a long illness. Fred was born in Belmont but spent almost all his life in Dorchester. He graduated from Boston College and became a marine surveyor. For a period of time he was the head of the marine surveyors of Massachusetts. Fred loved Boston College football and was a season ticket holder for many years. He died at the young age of 66. He is survived by his former wife Anne (Emberly) Leonard of Saugus. Loving father of Casey, Patrick C. and Matthew Leonard , all of Dorchester. Devoted brother of John Leonard of VT. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839. A memorial visitation will be held in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. Interment Private.
