Edward A. O’Connor, 86, passed away on July 25, 2015.  Born and raised in Belmont he was a long time resident of Milton.  Ed is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Margaret (O’Dowd) O’Connor, his loving daughter Meg of Milton and four nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gertrude O’Connor and his brother Dr. Thomas O’Connor.  Ed enjoyed cruising, playing slot machines, smoking Cuban cigars and creating model airplanes. He was also a loyal volunteer at the Fontbonne Academy Art and Craft Show. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church, 432 Adams Street, Milton at 10:30 AM on Tuesday.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.  Visiting hours will be held in Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON from 4-7 PM on Monday night.  Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a donation in Ed’s name may be made to Fontbonne Academy, 930 Brook Road, Milton, MA 02186.
