Oddie Gene Johnson Jr.
Oddie G. Johnson Jr. 80, of Brockton, MA formerly of Covington, TN passed away on July 8th 2015. Father of Debra Whitley of Covington, TN, Don Johnson of Randolph, MA, Phyllis (DaRocha) and Judith Johnson of Boston, MA Katherine (Blicker) of Milton, MA and Lori M. Mitchell of Canton, MI. Grandfather to 16 and great grandfather to 8. Five siblings preceded him in death and leaves to carry on, Sadie Mae Dyson of Covington, TN and Norma Smith of Covington, TN. Funeral services are private on Wednesday July 22, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Uncle Oddie will certainly be missed by his family. My mom (his sister Sadie )looked forward to his yearly visits and daily calls. My husband and I had the privilege of sharing a meal with him and Judy last summer. Cousin Judy said that Chinese restaurant was the place for all of the family celebrations.
We are praying that his children and grandchildren will find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
