Margaret (Barbara) Fennick, 66 of Milton, MA, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Boston Medical Center.  Margaret was born January 23, 1949, in Monks Corner, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Lee Fennick and Mary Lou Harleston.  Margaret had a generous heart and touched many lives with her humor and presence.  Her family and those who knew her, will be thankful for the gift that was her life.

Margaret’s favorite holiday was the 4^th of July.  We never understood why that holiday was so special to her.  Could it be that the 4^th fireworks matched her personality?  Margaret LOVED to debate politics.  She believed in using your voice to bring about change.

Margaret is survived by her loving mother, Mary L. Sheppard; sons, Kevin and Keita and daughter, Afi; brothers, Elijah and Larry; sisters, Emma, Henrietta and Kathleen; many nieces, nephews and cousins and her favorite companion, her cat, Cooper.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Henry Sheppard, loving dubbed, “My Daddy”; uncle, Ernest Harleston; aunts, Leola West and Virginia Robinson and grandmother, Elizabeth Palmer.

Funeral Service, Friday, July 24, at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, at 10:30 am.  Visitation from 10 – 10:30 am. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
