Rev. Dr. Theodore Romberg
Reverend Doctor Theodore E. Romberg,, of Milton, passed away on June 25 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Ruth Romberg and father of Roselyn, Carolyn and Rachelle, father-in-law of Douglas Hardy, Michael Morenko, and Douglas Tuber, grandfather of Spencer, Grace, Max, Tessa, Emilie, Vasily, and Andrei. Rev. Romberg served many area churches as a Methodist minister, and also served as Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Emerson College for 30 years. Memorial service Wednesday July 1 11AM at United Parish in Brookline, 210 Harvard St. Brookline, MA .

I was sorry to read about Dr. Romberg’s death. He visited my mother when she was in the hospital many tears ago. He also did her funeral at the Wollaston church when he served there. I loved when both of you sang in the choir. I loved that church and his story about the history of the windows in the church. I live in the Cedar Grove section of Dorchester across from the cemeter where my parents are buried.
I hope to get to the service on Wed. I’m 3 years older than the Dr. and have problems getting around. My thoughts will be with you and the family if I don’t.
