Raymond E. Reich, M.D.
Raymond E. Reich, M.D., died in Boston June 19th, at the age of 86. He was born in New York, New York. Raymond lived in Chicago where he was a well respected Cardiologist and practiced medicine for more than 40 years. Raymond was in private practice as well as on the staff of Christ Hospital and was the President of Holy Cross Hospital medical staff. He retired and moved to Boston with his beloved wife Nancy Castro – Reich who he shared his life with for over 20 years.
Raymond loved spending time with his family, travelling sports of all kinds but football was his favorite. He was a brilliant man who was an incredibly social person. He was always grateful for his time spent with his family and friends.
Raymond was the devoted father of Heidi Reich- Aguilar and her husband Tony of Illinois, Jeffray Reich and his wife Jeanette of Illinois, Raymond Reich and his wife Erica of Illinois and Romy Reich of Indiana. He was the loving grandfather of Hayden Reich, Sydney Sargis, Taylor Reich, Raymond Reich and Ryan Reich.
Our Most cherished Raymond will be missed forever and we are eternally grateful for our time with him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Agatha’s Church, Thurs., June 25 at 10:30 am. Visiting Hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Ave., EAST MILTON SQUARE, Weds., 5- 8 pm. Interment Private. If desired contributions in Raymond’s name may be sent to any cancer charity of your preference.

He was there for many firsts in my life. My first born, My first business, the first rime I visited Fenway, the first time the cubs played the red sox at Fenway, He was and always be one of the first in my prayers.

Reich Family, The Doctor was our family Doctor and friend for many years in Chicago. When my wife passed suddenly , Ray stayed with me at our home all night, talking and helping me greatly.We Partied together, Bear and White Sox games and a few Notre Dame games in South Bend and he was always a great Friend. He will be missed. Harry
I knew Ray well from years at Colby College. There are many great
stories to tell , most of which will remain untold . Ray was smart,
funny, and a treasure to,know. My nickname was Hawaiian but he
called me Pineapple. I know his patients will miss him.
So sorry for the loss. I am part of a group that now is almost all
Gone; but , at 90 still enjoying life.
