Sister Mary Alma Moynihan, mfic,  of Newton, MA, a beloved member of the Missionary Franciscan Sisters for 75 years, died on March 9, 2015 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. She was the loving daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kelly) Moynihan of Rathmore, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Sister is predeceased by her brothers:  Fred, Con, Paddy, and Br. Virgilius, FSC. She is survived by her sisters, Jane Moynihan and Bridie McCull, many loving nieces, nephews, her extended family and her Missionary Franciscan Sisters. A wake will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2:00-5:00PM with a prayer service at 4:30PM at Mount Alvernia Convent Chapel, 790 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 16 at 10:00AM in the chapel. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
