Brian Butteriss

Brian Butteriss of Milton, March, 3, beloved husband of Margaret(Harris)  Butteriss Devoted father of Robin  and his wife Amanda &  Jeremy and his wife Catherine  Butteriss.   Grandfather of Ella Georgia Butteriss, Daniel Mathew Butteriss, Audrey Catherine Butteriss and Maeve Emelia  Butteriss. Brother of Jennifer Ann(Butteriss) Brown.  He also leaves his faithful Tibetan Terrier, -Tashi.

Brian loved his family, and cherished spending time with them. He was a wonderful member of his community and church, always eager to help others. He was beloved by colleagues during a long career in business development at software and hardware companies, as well as managing H&R Block branches. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed playing and watching sports throughout his life, including golf, sailing, skiing, tennis, rugby and rowing. He was an active and talented gardener, and kept busy doing odd jobs around the house.  He was a wonderful cook, and loved making meals for his family and friends.   He also loved music and was an active member of the St. Michael’s Church choir.  Family and friends will dearly miss his company, his love and his laughter, and will remember him fondly.

We wish to thank Dr. Musto and his staff at Dana Faber oncology clinic in Quincy for the wonderful care they gave to Brian, and the staff at the Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham for their care during Brian’s final days.

 A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 112 Randolph Ave., Milton, Sat.  March 14, at 11 o’clock.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian’s name may be sent to either the NVNA & Hospice, 86 Turkey Hill Ln., Hingham, MA  02043 or to the Dana- Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
