Sammie Lee Griffin
Sammie Lee Griffin, 77, of Boston passed away on January 17, 2015. Loving husband of Katie (Flowers) Griffin. Loving father of Teeana Griffin-Nesbitt and her husband Lamont of Boston as well as 4 children from previous marriages. Sammie is also survived by his grandchildren Myles and Milan Nesbit, his brother Curtis Griffin and his wife Jane of Atlanta, his sister-in-law Elaine Griffin of Atlanta and Aunt Margie Griffin of Boston along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Sammie was predeceased by his grandson Lunden Nesbitt and his siblings Lessie B. Johnson, George C. Griffin, Clyde Griffin and Annette Griffin. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22nd beginning at 6 PM in the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, 24 Washington Street, Dorchester. A Masonic Service will begin at 7 PM. Friends and relatives invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery on Friday at 10 AM. Family and friends are asked to meet at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, at 9:30 on Friday morning for the procession to the cemetery
