Papa,
I am going to miss you more than you’ll ever know. My heart is broken but knowing you are finally free of pain and suffering gives me a sense of peace. I am so proud and always have been to say that you are my grandfather. You have always been my angel here on Earth and now you have finally received your wings to go beyond and watch over us all. Thank you for showing me what family is all about and for teaching me that Marine corps strength, because with that I know I can get through anything. Until we meet again you will forever be on my mind. Sweet dreams Papa. I love you forever and a day, “Squirt”
To the Carroll Family…Sorry to hear of “Woodsie’s” passing. My grandson Sam fondly remembers our fishing trip and how much attention he paid to a 5 year old boy. He was a good man with many friends and he will be missed.

Ginny: Thinking about you and your family during this sad time. I smiled when I saw your Dad’s smiling photo and I will always remember him since we felt we knew him and your mom from their visits to the office and all the stories. You will have so many wonderful memories to keep him with you forever.
Our love and prayers are with you. What a great example of “Getting It Done” he was for all who knew him. He left a beautiful family behind for all who know them. Please accept our condolences and sympathies. The Murphy Family
Though only neighbors for five years. From day one Woods and Ginny open up their hearts and home to us as if we were one of their own. I will miss his big ole smile . I will miss his soulful laugh, his straightforward sense of humor . I’ll miss all the attention he gave to our son Thai . I will miss that handshake which was mere camouflage to hide his giant heart . I will miss our talks in the shade looking over his garden . Our neighborhood has been left with hole that will never be filled….Thank you for all that you gave us Woods
We wanted to send our best to your family during this sad time and wish you comfort as you all gather together to pay tribute to your father.
God Bless,
Ward, Andrea, Hannah and Will McKeen
John, my sincerest condolences for your loss. I never knew your father but I’m sure he was a great guy. I lost my dad a few years back and I know what you’re going through. Rest in peace and God bless.
