Catherine “Kay” Cunningham of Rockland, MA and formerly of Mattapan, MA died Wednesday, August 20, 2014.   Mother of the late  Robert H. Cunningham , she  leaves behind her grandchildren, Kendra Cunningham of Brooklyn, NY and Kristen Cunningham of Hingham, MA, her daughter in law Carol Cunningham of Quincy, MA. As well as her cousins Louie and Judy Cerrone, and their children Joseph Cerrone, David Cerrone, and Melissa Morgida and Kay’s nephew, John Palaima.

Catherine “Kay” Cunningham is remembered by her family and friends as a fun loving, gregarious, life force. During her career at Shawmut Bank, she spent her vacation time travelling extensively. A true independent woman, her favorite pastime was dressing to the nines and going out dancing. Her infectious laughter will be missed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 AM in Saint Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester.  Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visitation will be prior to Mass  at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS,  beginning at 8:30 AM.  Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
