Rose Marie (DeSantis) Farrington, died peacefully at her home in Milton on May 5, 2014. A homemaker, Rose was a founding member of Saint Mary of the Hills Church in Milton, MA where she remained an active longtime parishioner. She was also a member of the Milton Women’s Club and MilPar.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Farrington. A proud, loving mother, she is survived by her son, Philip J. Farrington and his wife, Patricia, of South Dennis, Rosemarie Franzie  and her husband, Jack, of Sandwich and M. Christine Cook of Milton. Sister of the late Anna Dunlea, Joseph and Victor Francis DeSantis. A loving, generous grandmother, Rose was adored by her 3 grandchildren: Betsy Farrington of Canton, John Franzie of Plymouth, and Jennifer Franzie of Sandwich. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary of the Hills Church, Milton on Friday, May 9 at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St. DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Thursday 4-8pm. Interment Milton Cemetery. In honor of Rose’s late husband, Joseph, donations may be sent to The Trustees of Boston University, Parkinson’s Disease Research, BU School of Medicine, 72 East Concord St., Room L-219 Boston, MA 02118.
